yesterday was a long day
but it was good.
So our advertising and promotion project was due at 5pm this afternoon. It was a mad rush to finish up everything, can i emphasize MAD RUSH. Anyway, tomorrow's the presentation part. I hope it goes well. That 35% of our grades... sighh..
So the mad rush was also due to Bao and i sacrificing a few hours to watch the Linkin Park concert. Awesome, however from where i was standing, i wouldn't be too happy if i actually paid for it. I'm short, everyone's tall. The girl in front of me had smelly hair (bet it was all a plot to scare people away).
Anyway, last last night, yingyi messaged me if i wanted a pair of tickets to watch Linkin park and to reply asap. So i did.. and from that moment, i was very inspired to complete my work especially since i had quite a lot to do. =) Not very nice to ditch all the work to my teammates, even though they are awesome people. =) Anyway, i asked bao if she wanted to watched and.. haah both of us were very inspired to finish the project. And we worked really hard before the concert. And pia again when we came back. Anyway, i was pretty happy it was a nice way to reward these past few weeks of endless work with free tickets to a concert.
Hours before the concert, Yinyi called to say she had 2 more tickets. And after a few calls here and there, yip and cherilyn came along and haha exchanged our $68 tickets to $128. = ) And i thought my day was going pretty well already.
As we were leaving school to make our way dow, Fudz said he would pick us up from school. haha, bao and i just stood there amazed and we couldn't believe our luck. haha. What could get better than that?
Anyway, the concert was good but from what i heard, their first concert was much better. Oh well, it doesn't matter to me cause i thought i had a really good day already and i was pretty satisfied with how it was going, even though there was a moment where we almost had to give up the $128 tickets. But that would have been ok too. =)
So thanks Yingyi for making my day, and many others too. =)
