Soooo... weekend begins on

thursday for me.

But this friday was spent doing/filming for my com 125 project. After project,pam, dong bao and i headed down to 6th avenue for ice-cream. We were so tempted to eat ice cream because our marketing project was about ice cream. haha, so after that bao and i headed to town. First and most important stop, kung fu ice milk tea at far east. Yes, it is important to me. Walked around and bao went back, i decided to head to borders to read.

Haha, i spent 3 hrs reading the books there. hehe, i like spending time there. Anyway, this time i covered erm... computer-> wanted to invest in a good photoshop cs and final cut pro book. Magazine-> reading about mac, food, design, architecture. And erm... i went through the whole media section. Read a few interesting book, was tempted to read Marshall Mcluhan's book, but couldn't be bothered in the end. Read a book about tricks behind Hollywood. Super coool, they teach you how to create the same similar hollywood video effects. Really interesting, was learning about the use of bluescreens. So so tempted to buy the book, but not enough money. Then, i read another book, 500 digital video hints, tricks and technique. So was really inspired.... like reallly. So was all out to buy the book, and i was short of $7, damn it. So decided to try my luck, walked to Orchard library.. and waaah lahhhh, found all the books i needed. So happy. I know i sound so geeky, but it was really exciting.

Saturday
Followed my parents. Went to river valley to view the trillium. I love view show flats. Anyway, this property is pretty nice, quite spacious. I've never seen anyone build a big balcony .. for a long timeee.. seriously. But, erm.. it's pretty ex. 1400sq ft-> 2 mil, 1798 sqft->3 mil, and 2218 sqft->4 mil. Erm.. i dunno the price of the penthouse though..i think it's about 4-5 mil???

Headed to PS. My parents went to watch "Music and lyrics", and i went to star bucks... to read my books. Haha, was trying to learn my FCP there. Haha, how, today i was one of those Mac posers in starbucks.. haha.

After which, went to singtel. Changed internet plan,, to MIO. And a new phone.
Changed my M1 line to singtel. So guys, i have a new no. Ask me.. So i've been putting off changing my phone number coz i really like my old number.. People can rem it. Common, tt's big man. Who rems phone numbers now? I feel like i'm betraying my old number, that number has been with me since 2001-> with N3310.. ahaha. 6 years man. Anyway, i can still be contacted with my old number, so dun fret. Haha.

Ok i'm tired, i'm going to read my books.. haha

Anyway, i am almost done with my com 300 essay. Gosh, i dunno why is it so difficult to write this paper, this time. After all, we've been doing so many blog assignments. I wrote my paper till 230am, couldn't take it and went to bed. Headed down to school, skipped MGM and did my essay till class. That meant 8 1/2 hrs of writing today... my brain is fried! Shall sleep...

So this weekend will be spent doing up projects... help, i have no life!

so finally, cher got my package.
Yes, i sent her a Giant Tissue box as my gift! If you wondering what is the meaning behind it? It's very simple, 200 sheets for the 200 tears i will shed before she's back in my arms....

ahahah ok talking rubbish here.. ahahha. No, i sent her the famous homemade pineapple tarts. Blessings from my family to her. Anyway, i was afraid that they would not ship my package over once they discover that it's food! What a waste of my money and the shipping fees. So cher said to wrap the gift in bubble wrap... and i did, i managed to find bubble wrap in my house (then again, i think i can find anything in my house.. haha). But i couldn't find a box to cover the box-> well the shape is a dead giveaway right? So i found a tissue box and used it as a box. So drove down to the nearest post office and man... the lady asked what was in the box, i think it's standard procedure.. but tt was scary... i said clock! hee hee, was trying to think of something to account for the weight. So, in the end, i had to declare the item in the package on a sticker.. cold sweat man! I wrote "clock and bean bag". Haha... tt's all i could come up with.=)

So last friday was spent travelling to

Little india, esplanade, clarke quay and my house. We were doing location shoot for our com 101 project. Here's the thing, we are suppose to do a presentation of 5 beer ads shown on local television, and to make things more interesting, we decided to film our own beer ad.

My group's name is 6 degrees and here's our beer-> 6 degrees beer. Haha, our way of branding our group. Anyway, like any other filming that involves "big stars", there were some paparazzis that were present. Managed to find one shot of us in their site.. here!


*can i add that i love this video camera? they say you add 5 pounds on camera, i think this cam took 5 pounds off my legs.. ahahah i look so skinny! ahahahhahahaahahhaa*

what a week it has been

Friday
Drove down to JB with the parents, brother was too lazy to join us. So went down to a car repair shop to fix the speakers on my dad's car. Ate lunch, went pelangi square to shop. Woah that place has changed quite abit, nicer shops, i bought quite alot of stuff, my dad's eyes were popping out... "do you need so many shoes??".. hee hee =) Bought some cakes from secret recipe.. what the hell, the cheesecakes are RM 5.00, it's S$5 here. So we return to Singapore at about 6, my dad had to attend a company dinner at Marriott, which he pronounced as "ma-rot". haha, My mum and i walked around town while waiting for him. And i bought a new tefal frying pan for myself.. was complaining about the last pan. Anyway the saleswomen said, u should add the oil into the pan before turning on the gas, and not to add water in immediately after cooking. That's the cause of non stick pans sticking.. oops, guilty of both. Anyway, i'm quite excited about the new pan, can't decide what i shall cook yet. Hey dolls, remember chem? who asked that curly oyster/some teacher to explain how a non stick material can stick on a pan if it's non stick? Sounds like a question i would ask.. but i'm pretty sure i didn't. Anyway, the whole ballroom of ITE staff left the place, and we were all stuck in Tang's Carpark... so long, i fell asleep. After a long while, arrived home and did my blog assignment.

Saturday
Did my bonus blog assignment, went down to Suntec for the It Fair. Waaah crowded man, parking was a problem, luckily my mum knew a hidden carpark entrance. The one through pan pacific.. haha beat the queue, quite a few lots too. Little things like these make drivers very happy, ahah so trivial. So squeezed our way through the crowd, mum wanted to go to the Singtel booth to know more about the Mio plan. Gosh, there's one word to explain the plan man-CONFUSING! Seriously, i don't understand how my home phone will routed onto the internet for calls, and blah blah blah. In the case of a black out, your home phone would not work too. Anyway, we found out more about this plan and decided against it. Man, they should make clearer pamphlets... it's really MIO-pic (myopic). Anyway my mum decided to get another internet plan, upgrade to 5Mph, yeah tt should be 3.333 times faster.. i hope. So, my mum got herself a LAPTOP... how funky is my mum??? hahaha

You know what this means... my mum's laptop is more powerful than mine... or any other com in the house. 2GB RAM!!! her harddrive space is bigger than mine too, the screen size is the same ..15'4. Which is good, now she can't complain that the screen is too small, or that her stuff is always inferior to ours.. HAHA, what a birthday present for my mum. Oh did i mention her birthday was yesterday??? Anyway, i was pretty curious about Vista, glad to say.. it's nothing like Mac, it sucks! noo, not that bad, will see how my suddenly-tech-savy-mum adapt to vista. Not much changes thoughh...

Anyway, i went to find my darling samm while the parents were queuing up to upgrade the RAM. She's working at the starhub booth... i like to go say hi to people while they are working at these booths. I dunno, i think it's refreshing to finally see a familar face after explain all the phone plans and stuff to customers.

I bought a new speaker too, after much complaint from the parents about the old one. It's a flat screen speaker that my brother bought from Sim Lim, a long long time ago.

Anyway, that speaker is not clear and soft, and my laptop speaker is soft too, so i tend to turn it on louder.. not too loud. But the strange thing is, the sound from my speaker is louder outside my room than inside.. strange strange.. so bought a new speaker and taadaaa..

Oh the bass from the subwoofer is pretty shiok, shall blast it one day.. hee hee.

Since we are looking at my room, thought i show you some pictures of my room that people like to pinpoint on.
Alot of people think that my clock is lame, because it spells out CLOCK. I should remove the L, haha. See if the parents notice it, anyway i won this CLOCK on a star cruise, i think i claimed it from winning at the arcade. Haha.

which brings me to the end of the week! Yes yes i have a 4 day school timetable and awesome 3 days of weekend.

So this week has been tiring, studying for 1 test, 3 exams.. it's really taking a toll on me. I work so hard during the 4 days that i need 3 days of rest to get back on track... sighhhh. Some alcoholic drink should do the trick, so my fav drink at the moment is Mojito. Yup, my brother bought barcadi rum , Alize and hoeegarden from DFS. Woohoo..

Been surfing the web for a good mojito recipe and barcadi's official website has some cool vids. Go check out "the muddle" on their mojito tv section.

Since we are on the topic of alcohol, you should visit absolut's website, in case you didn't know, absolut wins alot of awards for their print ads, quite tempted to try the new flavour-pear. Surfing their site is like surfing through the album section of itunes.. pretty cool. There is this game that you can play, find the absolut bottles.. pretty fun, my highest score was 44. Yup, i was really bored during one of the presentation.

noo, just tremors in Singapore. I'm in the midst of my com 125 class when i felt the table shake... i thought i was shaking my leg, then i realised that everyone else felt it too, so yupp, this is the first time i've felt a tremor in the west.

yesterday was a good day

So my bro asked me to send him to the airport at 430am. yawnnnn..... i couldn't decide if i should sleep or stay up, anyway i watched greys till 3 am and i decided that i should take a nap. He woke me up at 430, and he did his last minute packing and off we went. I told him to pick up his friend and drive himself to the airport, haha... he drives faster than me you see. Anyway, it was about 530am. Oh, he's in hong kong btw. Yup, so the night before, i was comtemplating if i sld squeeze the bike in the van and cycle at east coast, naah, it was too early for that.

Drove myself down to east coast park, bought Mac's breakfast, erm i don't really like the new bagel meal, i like bagels, just not theirs. Anyway, found a quiet spot, not too quiet or dark. And ate my breakfast there. And woah, lots of people are awake in the morning man and exercising man. I wanted to listen to my ipod but decided that that was kinda dangerous, haha, everytime i heard a footstep, i turned around and looked.

Anyway, the sun took forever to rise... seriously, i was sitting there till 7, then i saw abit of light... anyway, i decided to stand up and took nearer the beach and listened to the sound of the waves. That was relaxing, i almost fell asleep standing up.. haha, you know how your whole body moves in circles.. haha. Anyway, i finally got it, the sun rises from the east. hahah, am i right, coz the light came out on my left side.. haha i feel so stupid. Yup, it was a really nice sunrise, really. The past few times that i woke up to watch the sunrise (past chalets and trips), the sun rose so fast, it was so boring. Anyhow, i still prefer sunsets.

Drove home and slept till 5, in time to watch my tv, haha. My life =) Then a spontaneous movie trip with the dolls, music and lyrics, woahh lots of hugh grant ass shaking and i am embarrassed to say that i actually like the song, pop and way back into love. haha you'll see.

Supper at newton and more grey's at night. How episode 18 is not coming out till 15 march... so longggg
