I just watched

It's the sequel for Bruce Almighty. I don't remember much about Bruce Almighty except that it starred Jim Carrey and Jennifer Aniston, B-E-A-U-tiful, and the pipe exploding with the song "Everybody Dance Now". Anyway, the show was quite enjoyable actually, surprisingly. I'm not usually a fan of Steve Carell, but he was ok in this show and Lauren Graham made up for it.

Anyway, there was one line ... one part... that kinda strike a chord. I'm free thinker but I like the idea behind it.

"Sounds like an opportunity!"

God played by Morgan Freeman said to Joan (Lauren Graham):

"If someone prays for patience, you think god gives them patience or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If you prayed for courage, does god give you courage or does he give you opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, you think god zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings? Or does he give them opportunities to love each other."

My weekend is going to be burnt with SC BBall Past Vs Present. It's this annual thing where the bball alumni gets together and play a match with the present batch in SC. And since the new teacher in charge (boooooo, my loyalties are with mrs B. ahah) changed the timing to end in the afternoon instead, the junior alumni organized a bbq and chalet after that. How's that for seizing opportunities? Plus, i've got this photo course that my mum signed me up for on sunday. And erm .. exams on mon and tue.. haha. yikes. I need to score full marks, especially for PR. Might be possible, might. And maybe, just maybe I might get a 4.0 this sem. Just maybe.

So i'm going to seize the opportunity now and go study.
