While studying com 242-> Media effects research

So, i was studying the chapter on "Media that stir emotions", the part about conducting an experiment about the Incredible Hulk. Anyway, the purpose of the study was to find out what scares one child and not the other. The researcher used the the developmental theory by Jean Piaget. Her theory was that children aged 2-7 years old would be affected by concrete, visual appearances, while those 7 and above would be affected by conceptual or abstract thought.

So the experiment was based on watched the 1978's version of the "Incredible Hulk".

Anyway, the results of the study was that the older children showed more fright during the explosion and calmed down when the Hulk appeared. On the other hand, young children were calmer at the beginning and were more upset at the appearance of the Hulk.

So what is the purpose of me telling you all these? kevin said we should ask questions.. and here are my questions

1. Where does the Hulk get his secret stash of clothes?
2. Why hasn't he considered stretchable clothes? Isn't it more afforable than growing out of yout hugo boss suit each time.
3. Why green? That goes to Frankenstein too?

Oh, sorry, nobody said i had to ask questions related to the exam. HAHAHA

Anyway, my classmates and i laughed when we watched snippets of the video. Seriously, what would we do without CGI now??
