Happy Deepavali
Yes, the festive of lights
and boy do people in my estate take that seriously.
Some household in block E caused a fire and erm, resulted in 3 huge fire engines, 1 small one (you know the convertible one) and 2 police cars. Well when the siren rung, i thought it was from the HDB carpark near my place. Boy was i wrong, it was quite a sight to see 3 fire engines maneuver their way through the driveway.
My dad just came back from the scence, the whole living room was burned, black and the plastic from the air-con was dripping down. All these due to the short circuit of a fan. The occupants were not in, thank god.
What a deepavali it has been for me.
